ANASTASIA AND BASIL, CHRISTMAS 2002.

Maria and her two children, Anastasia and Basil, live in downtown Shanghai. They have been in China since spring of 2004.

Before coming to China, they lived on a farm in Western Massachusetts. (see photo albums at right).

Getting to the house:

The apartment is located on the northeast corner of Xizang Nan Lu (Tibet St.) and Fuxing Lu. We're in the building directly behind (and attached to) the Shen Garden Hotel. It's building number 5, at 555 Xizang Nan Lu. We're on the 22nd floor, in apartment 2206.
